Abstract
Final year female students may experience menstrual pain due to stress beyond normal limits and lack of activity. To analyze the relationship between stress levels and physical activity with the incidence of dysmenorrhea in final year female students. Research design using observational analytic. The research sample for final year female students totaling 81 respondents was taken using simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were the stress level questionnaire (KPDS), the physical activity questionnaire (GPAQ), and the dysmenorrhea questionnaire (NPRS). Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho test (ρ ≤ 0.05). The results showed that most female students in their last year experienced moderate dysmenorrhea, moderate dysmenorrhea, and severe stress (50.6%). According to the findings, there is a correlation (ρ = 0.003) between the prevalence of dysmenorrhea and stress levels in their final year college students. At STIKES Hang Tuah Surabaya, there is a correlation (ρ = 0.006) between the prevalence of dysmenorrhea and physical activity in final year students. This study shows that physical activity and stress levels are related to the incidence of dysmenorrhea. Consequently, nurses play an important role in teaching female students how to reduce stress by engaging in at least 30 minutes of physical activity once a week and leading a healthy lifestyle. better body and less dysmenorrhea. There is a relationship between stress levels and physical activity with the incidence of dysmenorrhea.
