Abstract
Self-concept is a person's perspective on himself who sees himself as a positive person. Self-concept is usually formed due to habits and environmental influences. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-concept and adolescent social behavior during online learning during the pandemic at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya. The design of this study used a correlational analytical design with a cross sectional approach. This research uses quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used is probability with a simple random sampling approach. The sample of this study amounted to 248 respondents in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya. The instruments used in this study were the Tennese Self Concept Scale and the Student Social Behavior Scale. The results showed that the more positive the self-concept of adolescents, the better their social behavior. Spearman Rho correlation test showed that there was a relationship between self-concept and adolescent social behavior during the online learning period during the pandemic at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya = 0.001 (< = 0.05). The implication of this study is that self-concept is related to adolescent social behavior during online learning during the pandemic, so that adolescents at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya still have a self-concept with positive social behavior during the pandemic.
